Mouse support...

I have finally got round to adding mouse support to the EdzUp Operating Shell system, this basically gives us the ability to move to getting the rest of the programs complete for the system that will allow me to push more of it and get more and more of the system complete. My next things to work on will be the icon/cursor editor, desktop preferences and system installer. Once these are complete I will move to fleshing the system out more and getting it to a usable state for demonstration when we have something major to show :)

Some progress...

Whilst there has been a little progress it's still progress, we have added the mouse system into the EdzUpOS GUI interface (pictures when it's nearing completion) this will allow me to move on to the rest of the interface once completed. Next on that agenda is pointer loading and screen capture (to get the image under where the cursor will be placed).

On the Star Flight: Star Rogue front we have moved the project to AGK:Studio and after some adjustments have released a new build (still alpha). We will keep updating this version in tandem with the new Unity version which when completed will replace the AGK one.

Still going strong...

Well after much deliberation and ultimately trying to avoid doing it through brand loyalty to AppGameKit i am porting Star Flight:Star Rogue to Unity. This is going to use aome of the older code i ported along with some new additions that will be added as the game progresses.

EdzUpOS
On the EdzUpOS front i have gor the basic desktop done which supports 640x480, 800x600 and 1024x768 in 256 colours without drivers (i do wish to go to higher resolutions and different disay ratios as well but these are ok for now). I intend to write my own Bootloader and base the initial idea on FreeDOS (got the book on this development). This is a pet project that will be added to as I get a free moment to add extra code and try out new ideas as time goes on. Its not meant as a replacement for windows/Linux more of a fun DOS system which i can have fun coding in.

More hopefully soon...
